With the dry summer ending and fall about to begin, we can still find lots of native plants and animals to enjoy in Portola Valley.  And as bad as this drought seems, there have certainly been worse in the past.

Join Paul Heiple on a leisurely three to four mile walk to see how our California plants and animals can live successfully though the drought we find so difficult.

Meet at the Historic Schoolhouse at the Portola Valley Town Center on Sunday, August 24,
at 9:30 a.m. for a fascinating morning with nature.

Presented by:
The Portola Valley Nature and Science Committee

and The Portola Valley 50th Anniversary Committee
